Medicare Supplement Plans
Fill the gaps in Original Medicare — Medigap coverage for West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County, FL
Original Medicare (Parts A and B) covers many healthcare costs, but it does not cover everything. Medicare Supplement plans — also called Medigap — are sold by private insurance companies to help pay for out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare leaves behind, such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance.
How Medicare Supplement Plans Work
You keep Original Medicare
Medicare Supplement plans work alongside Original Medicare Parts A and B. You do not give up your Medicare benefits.
Medicare pays first
When you receive covered medical services, Original Medicare pays its share of the approved amount first.
Medigap pays the rest
Your Medicare Supplement plan then pays its share of the remaining costs, reducing or eliminating your out-of-pocket expenses.
Use any Medicare provider
With a Medigap plan, you can see any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare — no network restrictions.
