Florida Health Insurance FAQs
When can I enroll in a Florida health insurance plan?
Open Enrollment runs November 1 – January 15 each year. Outside of that window, a qualifying life event (job loss, marriage, new baby, moving) may trigger a Special Enrollment Period.
What is the difference between an HMO and a PPO?
An HMO requires you to use in-network providers and get referrals for specialists, typically at a lower premium. A PPO gives you more flexibility to see any doctor — in or out of network — without a referral, usually at a higher premium.
Can I get dental and vision added to my health plan?
Yes. Many carriers offer bundled packages, or we can pair a standalone dental and vision plan alongside your medical coverage for the most comprehensive protection.
Do I qualify for a subsidy on the ACA Marketplace?
